MarTEL Credentials – Join the Team?

MarTEL standards are developed by teams of professional academics and industrialists with an International reputation from several European Union (EU) member states as well as representatives of EFTA and EU candidate countries such as Norway and Turkey respectively.

To join the MarTEL team all you need to do is to send a letter stating the details of your institution/organisation expressing your interest to become involved in MarTEL’s development, and/or its delivery. All MET institutions and ship operating companies are encouraged to join as associated or full members. Full membership is reserved for MET institutions and ship operating companies. Individuals with a genuine interest in Maritime English, English Teaching Centres and non-MET institutions can join as an associated member. Both types of membership are free of charge. Taking MarTEL tests and the study guidelines are also free of charge.
